Mr. Daleel is a founder, partner and senior attorney in the Firm with plenty of experience working in challenging legal environments. Mr. Daleel started his professional career in Sudan in 1994 and then moved to Saudi Arabia in 2005 to work as a legal consultant in the private sector. In his 28 years of experience in law firms and corporate in house lawyering, he is known of being creative, punctual, patient and always delivering products exceeding the expectations of his clients. Professional Background:
- From 2009 Mr. Daleel has been working as Legal Department Manager for Samama Holding Group (samama.com) , one of the 100 largest companies in KSA. He has been handling the entire legal affairs of the group comprising 12 legal entities in addition to a number of joint venture companies formed with British, Turkish and Chinese entities.
Among the most considerable achievements, he has handled:
– the legal restructuring process for the group companies.
– articulation and periodical review of various regulations and bylaws including the HR Policy Manual, Corporate Governance, Board of Directors Charter, Audit & Risk committee Charter, Charters of the other auxiliary committees and Authority Matrix.
– responsibility for the implementation of the family business governance system (comprising corporate governance & family governance) provided by PwC.
- 2005 to 2009 senior legal consultant at the United Law Firm, a leading Saudi law firm based in Riyadh (unitedlawfirm.com), where he gained extensive knowledge of the laws, regulations and legal environment in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries, and acquired a wealth of exposure advising a large number of leading businesses and conglomerates, both Saudi based and foreign.
