Dr. Alfaqi is a founding partner. He is a legal expert holding PhD in comparative law. He started his professional career in 1987 as a trainee lawyer, then obtained a lawyer’s license in 1988, before being appointed as a legal counselor at the Sudanese Ministry of Justice in 1989, and then moved to Saudi Arabia in 1990. He worked as a legal advisor in both private and public sectors for more than thirty-five years, of which he spent more than thirty years in Saudi Arabia, with law firms, companies, institutions, and government agencies, supported by his dual study of Sharia and law; at the bachelor’s, master’s, and PHD levels.
Through his extensive career, Dr. Alfaqi worked on providing Sharia, legal and regulatory advice to clients in the public and private sectors, and a wide range of services in various fields of law including the formation of companies, articulation of contracts & agreements and litigation before various courts including general, personal, commercial, criminal, administrative, and labor courts and before quasi-judicial committees and arbitral tribunals. He also participated in preparing and providing legal advice related to the membership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the WTO.
His extensive experience in Shariah transactions, criminal law, Real-estate, Intellectual Property Laws and Arbitration & ADR, among other fields, contributes a lot to the practice of Naseer Law Firm.

Professional Background:
- From 2001 to 2017 Dr. Alfaqi has been working as a legal counselor for the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance (https://www.moia.gov.sa/Pages/default.aspx) , where he handled a variety of legal issues and participated in the drafting and review of a large number of Saudi laws (Bills), and GCC laws (Bills), and memoranda of understanding between the Ministry and counterpart ministries in a number of Asian, African and European countries.
- From 1990 to 2001 he worked as a legal advisor for a number of Saudi law firms including Al-fraih Law Firm in Riadh, Al-Shawaf Law Firm in Riyadh, Al-Mizan Law Firm in Khamis Mushait, Al-Shibaili Law Firm in Ryadh.
